On my way to work this morning, I saw a Toyota Prius with an Al Franken 2008 sticker. I couldn't help but wonder if it'd be ironic to see a Prius (or other hybrid or smart car) with a McCain sticker or an big SUV or truck with an Obama sticker. Do people who put political candidate stickers on their cars follow party lines to the point of their mode of transportation reflecting their political leanings?
Let's just say my drive this morning was a little slow.

I tend to think that you would be hard pressed to find many conservatives/republicans driving a hybrid! I could probably be proven wrong but I think there is that stereotype out there.
What about the other way though? If a conservative/Republican stereotypes don't drive a hybrid, shouldn't that mean a liberal/Democrat not drive a Hummer? And because conservatives tend to be fiscally conservative, doesn't it actually make sense that they would drive a hybrid to save money on gas (assuming it's a "good enough hybrid")?
